My son pulled up the full flight video after breakfast. He loses the chute at liftoff, then things get pretty grim.

Yes, it looks like he had a 'Snake River Canyon' liftoff (re: the chute), but at least Evel's chute stayed attached during his botch river jump. Looks like Mike was not so lucky.

What's the most stupid about this whole thing is that he could have accomplished his purpose by renting a Cessna 150 and gone up to double the altitude the rocket took him to with no problem and it would be safer to boot......
