The victory dance has been cut short, and quickly. Our second contestant received 4.0 points out of a possible 9.0, and has taken the lead.

And don't forget to place your entry in the guess-the-final-three contest.

Yup... 3 new ones, built in secret. And, to add a little vice into the launch matrix, I am going to create a new contest out of it. Winner receives a $25 gift certificate to Public Missiles.

1. Entry via personal email, PM, or sealed envelope. (no public, mailing list or thread guesses.) One guess per person.

2. The first person to correctly guess (a) what each of these are upscales (downscales) of, (b) what color each of them are, and (c) whether each of them are or are not a Jayhawk.

3. Contest ends at the big unveiling on the morning of the first day (Saturday) of the re-scheduled ECOF. (In the event of a tie, first entry received shall win. If there are no winning entries, the certificate will be donated to the ECOF raffle.)

Okay, here comes the big reveal...
"Joey Jayhawk" is an upscale chess piece. (A bishop, hence the name reference for those of us old enough to remember the original rat pack.) It is black and orange, and IS a jayhawk.

"Swirly" is an upscale ice cream cone. It is black (chocolate) and sugar cone colored, and IS NOT a jayhawk.

"Super Grande Mocha Frappuccino" is an upscale of the Fliskits Expresso, using white, 44 ounce Dart styrofoam drink cups, and IS NOT a jayhawk.

The winner is.... Flatlander (Don F.)

See you all in 8 hours.
