I bought my Quasar and Red Max boxed Citation kits in my local hobby shop around 1972 or 1973.
I lived (And now live again) in the same dead-end town. Yet, it had the best or one of the best hobby shops in San Diego County at that time.
Estes, Centuri and Cox products. Full lines (But no Enerjet).
I used to stare at all the kits on the peg hooks and shelves.
Those were the days.
