Did you construct yours from Doug's original plan set as a "scratch build" or buy the Apogee kit?

Good to know about the engine mount variations - I’ll look for that when I finally get around to building mine from the plan pack.
If guys are your level think it’s a bear to paint I might have to do a simplified scheme when I get that far.
I am planning on replacing the NSFK decal with a West German flag though. Not trying to be PC or anything - I built more than one F104 Starfighter and F4 Phantom in West German livery and always liked the look. Yeah, I know the Iron Cross roundel isn’t right  |
