I bought 3 of these on ebay a while back. I built one mostly stock, and was thinking the nose cone profile was close enough to try a scale model of Rocket Labs Electron rocket.

Look up the official instructions, the retaining hook just sets over the motor tube. No cutting a slot, so nothing besides a little glue to stop the hook from sliding back and forth a 1/4 inch. |
