In case it was not mentioned enough above, Plastic Cement is positively AWFUL as an adhesive for anything other than Plastic-to-Plastic joints. DON'T EVERRRRR USE IT FOR ANYTHING ELSE. Whomever at Estes has ever suggested this needs to be busted down to Sub-Lieutenant or Sub-Ensign (Below BOOT Louie) !


I think you’ll like it. I’m not sure if you have tried Tamiya, but the TS series are acrylic lacquers, go on beautifully, and of course, dry fast. The AS are acrylic lacquer as well. I think the “AS” refers to aircraft colors. A guy at HobbyTown told me to avoid PS - it is for spraying polycarbonate, like clear RC car bodies, where you paint on the inside of the polycarbonate body shell.
