There is a build thread for this where the guy up-sized to 1/24 on papermodelrs.com website. Should help with your build, as the guy really did great photos and explained in detail issues while building.
Just so you know, there are some design issues with the 1/48 from the link. They were corrected and available at papermodelers as well. Going there now to get the links talking about.

These changes are authorized by original designer. Not Sure if Lower Hudson has the updated version. The guy who did the re-design probably updated the ones at Lower Hudson too, just not sure.
