Yeah, I was pretty proud of how that turned out and drove to Muncie to fly on a day better spent building. I needed just a few flights to log #1000 and I had launch fever. I should have just gotten a booster shot. My worst day ever. Flight #1000 turned out to be more like flight #999.333. The F50-6T turned out to be more like a F50-2T and the whole shooting match came apart in mid air. The body section fell to the asphalt. The nose cone and parachute sailed off toward Richmond. Also had several CATOs on other flights. I'm guessing I vented my spleen on here when I got home. I filed MESS reports on all the carnage, and Estes replaced the Ventris with a new one. I built the new payload and nose cone section and repaired the body tube, and finally flew it last year in the cornfield.
