A local lake here in Manchester, NH, Lake Massabesic (Mass-a-bee-sick)is the city's reservoir.
No swimming, wading, sticking your hand in the water. Boating and fishing are allowed.
No kayaks or wind surfing.
Last year, 2020, there was such a drought that the shoreline receded over fifty feet.
I was able to walk in places where there is normally two or three feet of water.
Anyway, this lake has large boulders that are not marked and many lower units off of motor boats are at the bottom of the lake.
