Gordy is by far the best at turning and making nosecones. Based on my experience the imperfections in the plastic 3D printed nose cones, make them inferior to those Gordy turns from wood. With some extensive sanding the 3D printed plastic cone might be acceptable for a scale model. I wasn't planning on selling this nose cone, I made it just to see how my printer can handle a nose cone that long and narrow. Basically, I not satisfied with the quality of the 3D printed version that I made. There are small misalignment steps in the 3D print that are difficult to see in any picture that affect the nosecones shape.
