A few notes about this design.
It has a MUCH lower center of gravity then the older pad.
The more the rocket weighs the more stable the pad becomes
This pad will stabilize a large 18mm powered rocket (like the Big Bertha) in over 10-12 mph winds
It’s also worth noting that the blast deflector is held a little tighter with the new 3deg taper mount.
