UPS also gouges with import fees for Canadians. I bought 3 kits (private sale) from a guy in Texas and UPS charged me over 85% of the item value.

Yeah, once had a shipper send my item ($300) out of the US to Canada by UPS and it cost me over $100 brokerage fee. What a rip! And eBay's Global Shipping Program collects duty on every item over $20 and remits it to Canada Customs...............so they're happy, because they can't be bothered charging duty on anything less than $100. So for me, no more UPS, and I don't bid on items that ship through the eBay program. |
