Try rescanning in black and white instead of color - your file sizes will be MUCH smaller.

I have a small Semroc order saved but not yet turned in. It looks like it's going to get a bit bigger . Also, I'd go Kevlar shock cord anchor and a baffle rather than recreating the original in that regard.
