I think Estes is systematically downgrading the skill level for marketing purposes. With RTF and E2X taking the bottom rungs, that bumps down the 1-5 scale. Level 5/4s just don't sell well. Also, if the rudder and end plates are laser cut in the new release, then there is really nothing hard about this model. The plastic capsule assembly is the only thing to make it >2 skill level.
