One would think that, at some point, this will happen. But, it is hard to know when that might occur. I suspect we are, still, some time away from that, as a number of rocketeers just in their mid-to-latter 50s still collect these kits and may continue to do so for another solid decade.

Another big factor in the collection market, like most any collection market, is overall economic health. If we hit another early 2000s recession or worse, the 2008 financial meltdown, one could possibly see collecting drying up badly or collections being liquidated at almost wholesale prices.

But yes, eventually, one would think that once most all of us who remember or had these kits as kids are gone or too old to collect, the prices could fall a decent amount.
