I hope the 3D printed parts are a little smoother than the Boyce Nike Ajax parts! I started a build thread on the Ajax late last year and I'm STILL trying to get the parts sanded smooth.


Yes, some print 'grain' lines can be seen in the closeup of the silver inter-stage section of the model in post #1. I've not handled any of this 3-D printed material in a long time, so I don't know how hard this stuff is to sand, but I could easily understand that it could possibly take some effort to get smooth.
