Gotta jump in here...
I was the guy who moderated the Manufacturer's Forum this year, and was one side of the conversation with John Langford concerning the recent use of B14 motors at the Internats. (We used vintage B14-0 motors as the booster engine in our Bumper WAC models for Scale Altitude in 2014.)
I do not recall John stating that the B14s were coming back, only that they were 1) really cool, and 2) would be a nice addition to a future Estes engine lineup. I did not interpret any of that as a message that the motors WERE coming back.
