What: Northern Illinois Rocketry Conference 2022 (NIRCON 2022)
A one day convention modeled on NAR’s national NARCON event with speakers, rocket display with “People’s Choice” voting for best model, and a prize raffle, sponsored by the Fox Valley Rocketeers (FVR), NAR Section #683.
When: Saturday, March 5, 2022. Registration opens at 8:15 AM and conference activities begin at 9:00 AM.

• Cost? NIRCON is free!
• Raffle? Yes, we’ll be having a raffle!
• People’s Choice Model Display? Yep, we’ll be having a display of your great models!
• COVID? Well, yes. We’ll have to deal with COVID. The school district requires masks be worn at all times, even if you’ve been vaccinated. If you can’t comply with the mask mandate, please be considerate of others and stay home.
• Cancellation? You cancelled NIRCON 2020. Any chance that’ll happen this year? Yes, that’s entirely up to COVID, but monitor our website (
