As John Boren noted the Boosted Bertha’s booster does in fact tumble very nicely. I now have four flights on mine and the first stage has tumbled as it should (and landed relatively softly) every time.

No weights on fin tips. The booster, however has substantially larger fins than the sustainer (which has the same planform as the current “regular” Big Bertha). It is also gap-staged and has a 4.5 inch long body.

Attached is a frame grab from the maiden flight video. It doesn’t show the booster tumbling....but it certainly does.
