Estes Mercury Redstone #1921 18mm and 24mm
Attached are several screen shots and the RockSim simulation files I created for the Estes Mercury Redstone #1921. One file is for the kit with its factory 18 mm motor mount installed the other contains a 24 mm motor mount. The 24mm motor mount seems to be a common modification which I plan to use when I build this kit. These simulations contain pods so they won't work in Open Rocket software.

Now that we are getting the C5-3 back, the 24mm conversion is less necessary.
I would never fly the ST20 based Mercury Redstone on a C6-3. Just not enough oomph. I used Aerotech D10/D13s and D21/D24s, Cox D8s, and Estes C5-3s in mine The Quest C12 and D16 should be good too.

Failure may not be an OPTION, but it is ALWAYS a POSSIBILITY. ALL systems are GO for MAYHEM, AGITATION, CHAOS, TURMOIL, FIASCOS, AGGRAVATION, INSTIGATION, NUISANCE-ACTION, and HAVOC ! |

Thanks as well. I just got a Redstone and wanted to modify it for 24mm flight. The Rocksim file will be very helpful, thank you.
