This might have been discussed before but is there any future thought to a B12-16 18mmx 70mm motor?
If there a major difference in the nozzle dimensions for the A-B vs the CD, resulting in the higher thrust profiles? or is that he internal geometry of the engines themselves. just wondering Terry Dean

B12-16? You really need that long of a delay?
A B12 might be possible with Blue Thunder propellant and a core burning configuration. The A&B internal geometry and throat sizes are different than the Cs and Ds. Quote:

I think he meant a B somewhere from a B12-x to a B16-x.

Yes I assumed the throat and internal geometry are different because of their thrust-time curves.... I betcha a b12 to B16 could throw a payload right up there

I once flew a hard-boiled egg on a cluster of 3xB14-5 in an Astron Scrambler.
Used a hard-boiled egg due to fearing the acceleration may crack a raw egg and did not want the mess. It took off with warp-speed. Bet a composite B16 would work just as well.

I flew a White-Lightning Q-Jet D20-4W at the club launch today, in a 1:200 Saturn V. Sure makes a nice liftoff!
