At $30 each, I'm not supplying souvenir cigars.
I don't mind spending money, but won't be RIPPED-OFF.

A small pack of 3 Cuban Macanudo/Partagas/Monte Cristo "Corona" size cigars is now $80 !
Cheapest single cigars were $29.
The relatives requesting we bring home souvenir cigars got their orders UN-fulfilled.
That price was insane.
A "regular" box of Cuban Cigars was over $400.

Back when I still smoked I would buy a few Cubans when I did jobs outside the US. I tried several different sticks but for some reason I just never liked them—too strong, or something. I much preferred a fresh Dominican or Honduran rolled Cohiba, Macanudo, Orlando, or even a Ghurka smoke.

I Can say I would not supply souvenirs at $ 30.00 each either. Back in the day when I could get
Romeo Y Julieta's for $5.00 each I would bring some back when I would visit the Suarez farm in
Mexico. I could get 12 Monterrey's for $60.00, I would smoke these with my brother on special
occasions.

Not sure why the price of Cuban cigars has blown up obnoxiously.
I used to pay around $8-9 each for Macanudos until about 2 years ago.

I think maybe the Chinese may be trading Fentanyl for Cigars.

Lol.
Sounds like a good way to get rid of both.

Off to Secrets, Playa Mujeres tomorrow morning !
Same master suite, same first-class travel, food, and drinks.
Private pool on the beach with waitstaff/room/butler service.
Highs in mid 80's, lows in low 70's.

Ity'll be a rough 10 days.

That's great, GH.

Have a great time and while you are there, check whatever TV/streaming service they have and see if you can pull up and re-watch the Michigan-Georgia game or the Alabama-Georgia CFP Championship game. I heard tell that both of them were really GREAT games and worth watching several times!

Both of those games SUCKED.
Michigan's performance was a DISGRACE.

Will be watching ZERO sports while there unless you call Poker or Billiards a sport.

They actually have a GIANT Pool Table there that has pockets the size of manhole covers.
It is played with Bowling Balls, with telephone pole sized cues.
I have tried to get them to play Dodge Ball with the bowling balls but they won't do it.

Plenty of 18yr Scotch, Flor De Cana 18 rum, Don Julio Tequila, and Blanton's bourbon will be consumed.
Lots of prime steak, Swordfish, Lobster, Crab, and Shrimp will be devoured.
Will send some pics.
Have to be up in 3hrs, so signing off tonight.
Should arrive there at 2pm EST, 1pm CST.
