Good call.

Just being in Mexico makes you a target for crime. you go there because you get premium
accommodations on the cheap (well not so Cheap any more ), but me I'll stay right here in the USA for two reasons: #1 I don't speak the language and #2 I cannot carry my SIG.
OH: I also don't go to Chicago, Philadelphia, or New York City.

Or, you could just not go to Mexico. I wouldn't spend 10 cents in that country. Terrible record on law and order, and corruption is rampant. I'll spend my tourist dollars in Europe and the good ol' USA. They deserve my business.

I agree, but Europe make me nervous . My daughter go's to visit friends in Stuttgart and to go skiing in Switzerland. This makes me nervous, until she gets home.
Now she tells me that she might go to England for a year to finish her pharmacy school.

The resort is guarded/isolated and 100% safe, but no need to advertise any sort of wealth.
Worth every penny and get treated like royalty by happy employees.
U. S. employees in the service industry could learn a LOT from them.
If you don't want to happily SERVE, get out of the industry.
And YES, tips are ALWAYS OPTIONAL, not some sort of entitlement for crappy service.

Here is a pretty good deal on the Estes designer parts set. This seller has two of them at $49.99 each, plus a relatively modest shipping cost.

Also, let's try to stay on topic in the thread..... I was a bit guilty with the thread drift myself.

A pretty good price on a nice condition 1967 Centuri catalog. Not the rarest of Centuri catalogs, but one that certainly does not come up near as often as the ‘69 through ‘72 or so years.

Seller just asking $9.99 plus a modest shipping fee. Not my listing nor do I know the seller.

I did not think it would last too very long. Those in that age range (at least the Centuri catalogs) can go for $40-$60 pretty easy. This one looked to be in very good condition, too. I had this one so I did not need it, otherwise I would have grabbed in pretty quickly at that price.

I tried to grab it as soon as I saw Earl's post and it was gone.
