Good Buy It Now price on an MRC Concept II Trailblazer:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/2955734019...AAOSwwwtkFiF 2

If I had not just finished building one, I'd buy this. I am looking for (a good deal on) an MRC Concept II launch pad & controller, though.

Thanks for posting that...I saw it last night and meant to post it here myself. I've got what I need of this one myself, but it is a pretty nice kit and this is very good price on it. I know Mojo has been looking for the Concept II Ironman kit and I've been keeping an eye peeled for that for him, but this scale kit is another of the very nice Concept II kits.

Some here might be interested in this kit: Roachwerks Nike-Hercules. This one does not pop up too very often at all.

This was not originally listed as a BuyItNow. Bids started at $85. I was watching it with the thought of bidding later maybe. The lister apparently decided after one bid to make it a BuyItNow and sold it at that point. They have listed a handful of rocektry items since last night, many of which were fairly low priced....some LOC and Public Missiles kits. Had a great price on a LOC Starburst kit, which is a great twin-engine kit for D-F motors (built one in the very early 90s). It sold in no time.

But yes, someone got a GREAT deal of this kit for $85!

With no mention of Roachwerks in the title or description, easy to pass under the radar. I guess there is a potential benefit to putting in an early minimum bid, though I didn't know an auction could be converted to BIN after a bid was made.

I don't sell on eBay, so I'm not sure what is allowed or not, but I think you are right: once a bid has been made it is *supposed* to not change format. But I think we have all seen 'auctions' --with bids in place -- suddenly disappear as a listing on eBay because the seller, more than likely, accepted someone's 'offer' to go ahead and end the auction for an agreed-to price and all the other bidders are left in the cold. I've had that happen a good handful of times to items I was bidding on. I suspect too that is what happened in this particular auction. But, it was a good deal for someone out there....
