Yes...for today I folded it tightly and put it to one side of the stuffer tube as the internal attachment of the shock cord to the nose cone gets pretty close to the stuffer tube so wrapping it all the way around didn't work.

I'm sure Chris' instructions explain what to do, but as I noted this thing was built almost exactly 10 years ago and I don't recall what they said. I should have 'em somewhere though....

added later: I went back into my log books and it appears, on a quick going through, that today's flight of the Squatty Body was only its second! The first was on an A8-5 (I have no idea now why I chose that over an A8-3) and it was not exactly nominal. Today's flight pretty much was.



Added: found the instructions. It seems I figured it out OK. The kit header tag in with the instructions confirms my model is S/N 20.

I wonder where the heck that odd nose cone originated. I doubt Chris had them custom-made.
