If your payload section isn't clear plastic you could try the twist lock system I posted last year. If it is clear then the mechanical fasteners would be a better choice.

I ended up with a couple bags of nylon snap rivets from some random source on Amazon very similar to these:

So far they’ve worked well securing nose cones and payload sections.

I use 3 small sheet metal screws, as they have a fairly flat head - did this for my 2.6" L1 bird, which can fly on F-H motors. I use the payload section for an RF tracker. For LPR, just 2 tiny nylon screws.
