As I recall, the Drifter did not come with decals.

There was a couple of kit name sheets, one of which had the Drifter.

I did not look closely, but CMR does not appear to have it.

Um... just did "find in page" for Drifter and found this:

I ordered this sheet on their eBay store last night.

I forgot about "Astron" and skipped ahead to the "D" names.

Understood.

SO, this morning I spent a few minutes putting decals on a rocket. A few years ago (most of a decade actually) I built a goonie using a set of Ruskie fins from Semroc along with BT60 tube and Bertha cone. I fitted it for rear core ejection, which has become kind of my "signature," and got it all nicely painted red and white. Then I put it on a shelf to decal "later."

Evidently it's now "later." I got the Ruskie decals when I ordered the fins but I really didn't want to go with that look. So, I dug out the extensive leftover Red Max decals JeffyJeep sent me years ago and combined a few of the Ruskie decals (wheels, cockpit, some rivets) with some of the Red Max decals.

Thus, Estes and Semroc decals were what I was working with, and they went on great and look good on the rocket. My last decaling event was when I finished my Goonie Bird Zero, using Excelsior decals, and I messed that up terribly and am almost ashamed to show it. None of the iron cross decals survived my handling... it's why I put off the Ruskie-adjacent rocket until "later."

I had a couple of the eagle decals left from the GBZero set, and I decided to put them on the sides of the sustainer... and the first one I tried to use came off the decal paper in pieces.

Apparently I'm too ham-fisted for Excelsior decals, but Estes and Semroc are fine. Estes decals are honestly kind of thick, but I don't think of Semroc decals being that way and I had no problem with any of them.

Now I'm worried about the Tango Papa decals I just ordered. $7.00 isn't that much, but it's a lot if I screw them up.
