Very interesting! They say they will ship worldwide... Will it be stupid expensive to get them? If anybody orders, please let us all know!

Yes, there is such a thing as NORMAL

Failure may not be an OPTION, but it is ALWAYS a POSSIBILITY.
ALL systems are GO for MAYHEM, CHAOS, and HAVOC !

Contest use? How about NAR/TRA/CAR certificiation? I wonder if they will get any form of certification over on this side of the Atlantic. Why would they bother?

TSP motors are made by Piotr Tendera in Poland.

Piotr is a very bright, really nice guy who makes competiton motors we have flown at times in Poland and Romania.

He cannot legally ship motors to the U.S. and the expense to get them certified to ship here is cost prohibitive ($30K - $50K per motor).

Default cost, import fees, and testing fees aside---

I looked at the data for the D20. How can they claim 67% more power than an Estes D?

I'm sure it wasn't a dig on "the mighty D." They use a propellant with a higher specific impulse - probably a composite propellant.

He is talking about the motor's average impulse. 20N is 67% greater than the Estes D at 12N. Doesn't say anything about total impulse. Estes D's are a little low at 17N-s.

Piotr is really experienced at motor testing. I believe he was in charge of the motor testing at the Polish World Spacemodeling Competiton as well as the European Spacemodeling Competition. A very talented motor designer and maker.
