Gosh, ya know I had not even thought about reunion time. We had our 30th, though I could not make that one due to home commitments; made the 10, 20, and 25 year. I have not heard a thing about the 40th, so I’m thinking it did not even get off the board. But, one would imagine the vast majority of reunions of any type got canned this year. Earl

I met Doug when he ran the BayNar club in San Jose, CA.
He flew in G. Harry Stine as a speaker at one of the BAYNAR conventions. Our paths crossed again at NARAM 60. I expressed an interest in one of my first rockets, the old Vashon Valkyrie II. He said: "I've got parts for one in the box." He sent it too me! I returned the favor by sending him some Odd'l Rockets stuff. The Vashon Valkyrie II is a finished, proud shelf queen now. RIP Doug.

Here's Doug's images from the Centuri Magnum D Jayhawk package from 1980. The 'liner' card for that (somewhat large) kit was a three-sided, folded liner, with one broad side of the package 'clear' so you could see the contents.
On both 'narrow' sides of the package, at the bottom on each side, were the following images and text. (Well, ok, I'll attach a copy of the whole thing so one can see the overall layout of the large cardboard face card.) Like many of us, Doug was a younger guy in 1980. Earl
