Xacto makes a Guillotine-like chopper.

Yes, there is such a thing as NORMAL
, if you have to ask what is "NORMAL" , you probably aren't !

Failure may not be an OPTION, but it is ALWAYS a POSSIBILITY.
ALL systems are GO for MAYHEM, CHAOS, and HAVOC !

I have the LOC Doorknob. Great kit, very much sport scale. Peter Alway has a page on the real Doorknob somewhere around the ol' internet.
The Doorknob was made in both single-stage and two-stage versions (both stages had the same fins, and used surplus U.S. Army Lacrosse missile solid rocket motors; you can see both types *here*: https://www.google.com/search?sxsrf...iw=1440&bih=789 ). Peter Alway covered one or both Doorknob versions in one of his "Rockets of the World" annual supplement booklets, and--if memory serves--it's also covered in his "Scale Bash" booklet, in the section on kit-bashing non-scale kits with 3:1 tangent ogive nose cones (such as the Estes Alpha, and larger-diameter kits with 3:1 nose cones), and:

The two-stage Doorknob--made from an Estes Alpha (or another BT-50 kit with the same nose cone)--makes a nice Scale or Sport Scale model with a streamer-recovered first stage, using Evan "Buzz" Nau's gap-staged booster recovery system, particularly the variant used in his Test Vehicle 2 (I've attached his article on this below).
