Default BT-60GMR History

Hello everyone,
I have a nose cone that I cannot identify the history of: https://www.erockets.biz/semroc-bal...-sem-bnc-60gmr/
It is the Semroc Balsa Nose Cone for a BT-60 with the letters GMR, I was thinking it was a Gemini Cone but with a Mercury Redstone top. Did Estes make a kit with this cone as a pseudo Spacecraft? Any help is greatly appreciated.

I think Scott meant to post his response here rather than in the Semroc U.S.S. America thread:

Hi Randy,

GMR stands for Goony Mercury Redstone.

Thanks, Don. Randy wrote this second post after I responded to him in the other thread. Here's a working link:

Of course this now begs the question, what the heck was a Goony Mercury Redstone?

Randy, i later realized my response on the other thread might have come across as curt. I apologize for that. That was not my intention.
Have you checked with Sheryl? If anyone would know about the history of that product she would.
Carl was known for being generously accomodating to individual requests for custom turnings. I'm speculating this might have been a one off, like the Soyuz nose cone.
Laters.
