My little Checkmate couldn’t catch a break. After we were done with the “first day of the new contest year” informal meet at the site of the contest range, I launched it again....and the sustainer landed in the gravel parking lot to the east. So four hard-surface landings on consecutive flights. This time one fin finally was popped partially loose. Oh well, an easy fix and that was its 18th flight (and fourth flight using a really old 1/2A3-0T in the booster).
