Default RIP Sean Connery

The first and ‘true’ James Bond has, sadly, passed at age 90.

Best Bond for sure. Sad to read he has died.
Read somewhere he was a real PIA to work with on the Bond films.

RIP.

RIP Sean Connery.

The movie "Outland" helped establish him as an actor and not as "James Bond".

I loved him as Indiana Jones's father.

"We named the dog "Indiana"!. Too much!

Don't forget 1979's "Meteor!" which is available free on YouTube IIRC... Just watched it awhile back... lots of awesome rockets in there as well, would make interesting flying rockets (with appropriate clear fins or add-on fins). All star cast in that one-- Sean Connery, Natalie Wood, Karl Malden, Brian Keith, Martin Landau, Joseph Campanella, and Henry Fonda...

Worth a watch for sure... OL J R : )

If I recall correctly, those rockets in that movie were made from model rocket parts. I think maybe Centuri had some involvement in that, but not sure to exactly what level.

He won his only (and well-deserved) Academy Award in his role as Malone in The Untouchables.

.....and of course, we can’t forget his last movie in which he played Alan Quatermain(sp?) in The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. Ridiculous, but entertaining—-plus it had a submarine, so I HAD to watch it.

That's a very good description of that movie.
