Default Bell X-1 DVD

While at NARAM this past week, James Duffy shared with me a copy of his new DVD covering the development and testing of the Bell X-1 and several of its subsequent variants.

I'm only part way through the thing, but boy, there is a lot of material here! The DVD brings a lot of flight and operational sequences together, with a number of closeups of cockpit details. James' running historical commentary is an interesting and helpful context. I may have to dig out my old Revell 1/32nd size plastic X-1 kit now - this DVD would be helpful for detailing the model for use in a PMC competition. Fantastic editing work, James!

The DVD is available here - https://spacemonkeymodels.com/pages...rom-rocket-aero

Thanks again, James.
