Vintage K-41 Mercury Redstone Build
Just starting, but posting my progress so far. A razor saw works great to get the fin pieces the same size. Going slow but hoping to do good work on this one. Was my Second kit Ever, as a kid. Surely this one will be a bit better than that one !

Why they made those fin tips out of hot press illustration board I'll never know. I used them as patterns to make those plates from maple popsicle sticks. What a great vintage kit to have the opportunity to build. It's like a time capsule in a plastic bag.
