Need part # for Semroc Mini Optima
I have searched around a bit but cannot find the pdf file of this kit. Does anyone have one? I just need the nose cone part number (or a copy of the pdf file). I didn’t see it on their site. Maybe just old age.
Thanks. |

Semroc never kitted a SLS (regular) size Optima.
It was only offered by Estes in the original size.

Thanks Bernard!
I saved that one. I thought I had most of the plans. (I know there is an archive for them, but this was easier...) I liked the RTB (Ready To Build) kits. Nice construction details with thru-wall fins. I have built the Sky Hook II, and have a couple more I bought at NARAM-52 when I met, and visited with Carl, Sheryl, and the Semroc crew. Those were great times and provide fond memories for many.

It came out in 1990, so I think so.

Yes, I think they took over in 88 or 89 from Damon.
