USPS Strikes Again......
Earlier this year, maybe last year, I had a package that took three months to get to me from AC Supply.
Now, I placed an order with Apogee last week. On Saturday, my package was at the Memphis Distribution Center, scheduled to be delivered Monday. Monday arrives and goes. No package. I look up the tracking details. It's in the Los Angeles Distribution Center. Interesting, they don't show an estimated delivery date now.

I occasionally get a misdirected shipment, but usually the problem is getting lost in the Memphis Distribution Center for weeks and even months at a time. I had a spool of 8 conductor cable that stayed lost there for over a year (IIRC) and finally showed up extremely damaged. I'd already received a replacement and forgot about it. I've had many other items lost there that stayed in the tracking system and finally showed up after a couple months. There is no telling how much untracked mail I've never received that came through their facility. Unfortunately, everything we get via USPS is sorted in Memphis now. Speaking of that, I read an article the other day where they found hundreds of FedEx packages dumped in a gully. Seems like it was AL or GA. They had the sheriff dept come in and guard the packages until it could be investigated.

If you absolutely, positively don't need it, use USPS.

I had an Amazon Prime package make it as far as “out for delivery” on an Amazon truck only to end up ‘missing’ 3 days later. And it wasn’t anything exciting - lug nut caps…

Packages tend to go into limbo at Hazelwood, Mo. sorting center too.

They use the "5-M" shipping method- Mangle, Mutilate, Mayhem, Maim, and Molotov.
Inspected via BOOT-PRINT.

Fed X is not no better. the WARM BODY that delivers my neighborhood is a goof.
He leaves my wife's Meds at the house on the next block, He cannot read our address because it is spelled out: NINE SEVENTY, He lost a small shipment of gold coins, then he left me a box with six bottles of wine that belonged to someone else. I had so much trouble with this guy that I have his supervisor on speed dial. He would not take back the case of wine and try to find my package, so I called 20 min's later the truck returned along with the supervisor , they went thru the truck . Well wouldn't you know my package from Nissan was in the truck. Now I get a different driver who delivers my packages in a much smaller van. the other driver still has the rout but he does not deliver my house.
