Sheryl do you recall if the Trident was first released as an x-kit? The Semroc x-kit page lists a price for it so I think it was. If it was and anyone got one, I would love to see it and get the release date from it. |

Fairly sure the Trident I built LONG ago was a Semroc X-kit, but I can't find the kit bag/header/instructions with my stash of empty kit bags. Sorry.

Thanks, I didn’t include it in the list as I can’t find evidence of release yet.
Also thanks to all the help here I created a thread with all the kits released by Carl except commemoratives: https://www.oldrocketforum.com/showthread.php?t=18077 Last edited by 5x7 : 09-22-2019 at 01:18 PM. |

I did find good evidence for the Trident xkit
https://www.oldrocketforum.com/show...=Semroc+trident but would love to see if someone has the instructions to see if there is a date. |

Found my Trident X-kit. No dates on the front of the facecard, nor any printing on the back. The facecard mainly protects the balsa sheet.
I will try to see when I ordered it when I get time to wade through the invoices. Chas

Thanks, There is a post in the forum 7/18/09 where someone said they found it on the Semroc site for sale, and Karl said in the same thread it was a quiet release but didn’t say when it was released. |

I checked my invoices and found that I ordered two of the XES-33 Trident X-kits on July 18, 2009. So it was released on that date. Sheryl sent them right out as usual. I apparently sold one kit. I have built, but not painted one of the later Trident kits with the two piece side tubes.
Chas.

Thank you so much, I think we have all the data we can get from all the kit instructions and I have good release dates for the rest.

I was on the eRockets website last week and noticed several Semroc kits had discounted pricing.
I decided to stock up on some of these models and placed an order. My e-mailed invoice showed the following comment: Semroc Flying Model Rocket Kit Scrambler™ SEM-KV-34 Discontinued Semroc Flying Model Rocket Kit Aerobee-Hi™ SEM-KV-2 Discontinued Semroc Flying Model Rocket Kit Egg Crate™ KV-39 Discontinued Semroc Flying Model Rocket Kit Lil Hercules™ KV-14 Discontinued Semroc Flying Model Rocket Kit Midget™ SEM-KV-68 Discontinued Semroc Flying Model Rocket Kit WAC Corporal™ KD-1 Discontinued Folks may want to pick these up for their collection/future building.
