Default Estes HL Olympus Build

Not really a build, but here is one of the Olympus rockets I bought at HL, well one of 4. I built out of the bag with no issues, quality parts. I sealed the balsa with 3 coats of Brodak sealer and built the rocket in one day. Next day I hit with white primer, sanded and top coated with Rusto Professional Gloss white all in the same day. I bought Rustoleum Copper but did not like the texture so I went with Testors Copper and it is a perfect match. Next will be the decals then onto the next build.

Here she is all done ready for flight. This was a fast easy build and decals came out pretty nice. Final weight with shock cord and parachute is 3.7 oz, instructions est. weight is 3.9. I was able to keep it under the weight with balsa sealer, one coat of primer and one coat of gloss white.

Very nice! I like the copper you used on the fins better than the copper I used. I used a Rusto Aged Copper and it was OK, but VERY hard to use.
