AT LAST! FASTER OPENSCAD RENDERING IS ON THE HORIZON

If you install that 9/30/2023 snapshot you can open menu Edit -> Preferences -> Features -> and check the box labeled "manifold" to enable it.

Object in image below without multithreading:

Total rendering time: 0:03:36.436

With multithreading:

Total rendering time: 0:00:03.420

Is that your model and the times it took you to render it?

This could make fin can, ebay and NC refinements way more efficient!

I've tested it on my own scripts and the renderings are amazingly faster, in many cases seemingly instantaneous.
