Default Frenchmen holding penguins

Hello All,

This CNES (France's national space agency) website (see: http://nospremieresannees.fr/fusee_...ou/texte03.html ) not only shows their mobile sounding rocket operations in Antarctica, but also includes a cute photograph of launch crew members posing while holding penguins--the penguins look puzzled rather than troubled. :-) This link (see: https://www.google.com/images?q=fus...&gbv=2&oq=&gs_l ) has French sounding rocket photographs and videos, including in Antarctica and at fixed rocket ranges around the world.

My daughter loves penguins. She tested well for engineering so maybe showing her this will push her that direction.

They're always formally dressed, but never overly-formal. :-) Well, it's often said that astronautics (including the engineering part of it) encompasses "everything from astronomy to zoology." Getting a job or doing a research stint at McMurdo Station down there (they still fly meteorological rockets and sounding rockets "upside down") would give her a unique opportunity to indulge both interests/passions.
