Mine came this morning, when UPS usually runs late in the evening here. We seldom get Sunday deliveries from any carrier, usually just around Christmas.

I've been building one that I purchased from AC. Assembly is done, now I'm on to the finishing.
O M G! I'd forgotten what a pain it was to finish an Orbital Transport - all those complex balsa surfaces that need to be sanded, sealed, sanded some more, repeat

At one time I was planning to build two - one to fly and one to display - but now I'm not so sure I I'm up for doing this all over again

C'mon noww.
If you use Aero Gloss Balsa Fillercoat and Sanding Sealer (or any other SOLVENT based Dope), the finishing is quite pleasant due to the FUMAGE.

Yes, there is such a thing as NORMAL
, if you have to ask what is "NORMAL" , you probably aren't !

Failure may not be an OPTION, but it is ALWAYS a POSSIBILITY.
ALL systems are GO for MAYHEM, CHAOS, and HAVOC !

For me to enjoy it, I have to stop after opening the can or jar and painting it on a surface. Sanding is a buzz kill, possibly literally.

At least you can enjoy PART of the finishing process.

Sanding is like hitting your finger with a hammer … repeatedly. Because it feels so good when you quit.
