It's NOT really the type of plastic that is good or bad for SPSC it's what trace elements are found in the plastic. There are exceptions to this since some types of plastics just can't be used since they would never pass testing. It is very easy to have the same part pass testing one time and then fail testing the next time so we have to constantly test parts when they are produced. Luckily my job precludes me from knowing much of the details on whats going on in testing, I just hear STUFF from time to time. John Boren |
