I was thinking of building one at each at 18mm, 24mm and 29mm. I don't know if it would be better to make them to retain the motor and vent the ejection charge, or to make them with ejectable pods. Either would mean going up 1 tube size to get a little space.

Looking forward to whatever Shrox has up his sleeve... should be very interesting...

Haven't had time to do much but read lately... been too busy with construction projects... just helped put a new galvalume roof on my brother's carport this weekend... the old aluminum sheeting roofing that had been on there 30 years was shot... 75 nails in every sheet to pull, then tape off and install the galvalume and screw it down, replace rotted boards in places, etc... Thought we could get it all done on Saturday, but it ended up taking all weekend...

Last weekend we put the galvalume roof on the new porch on my parent's place at Shiner...
He helped me last weekend, I helped him this weekend... course it only took about five hours or so to do that new roof-- this old one took all darn weekend...

Got housework piled up today to do... and it's rainy off and on...

Here's a couple shots of the finished product... pretty proud of this one... this is my fourth porch I've built... 8x40 feet with a 4 foot wide handicapped ramp... couple panoramic shots of the view off the porch... also bought them some motion spotlights and installed them at both ends so they can see to get in the house if they're coming in at night...

Later! OL JR

Looking at what is still available from Semroc, it looks like one could build a BT80 kit with a killer big nosecone. The BT80's come in 18 inch lengths. Bt50-Bt-80 rings are also available for the engine mount. Is one BT80 too large to use with out a stiffer tube? What about a longer model made of 1.5 or 2.O 18 inch tubes? Can I get away with building one with large "Big Bertha" or "Centurion" style fins. Will a D12 get the thing off the ground? I guess I am asking if I need some design help.............

Wanting to place one more last order from Semroc.
