The RTF Athena has the Alpha III fin can, a body tube that is 2.25 inches longer than an Alpha III's and the PNC-50Y nose cone rather than the PNC-50K of the Alpha III. The longer BT and the longer nose cone add up to the rather longer rocket.

The RTF Athena is a great flyer and is just about perfectly matched to the three most common Estes motors - A8-3, B6-4, C6-5 - for deployment times. And, if you can still find 'me at W*M, they're only $7.
