Default Skill Level Facecard Guide added to Estes Kit Database

Hi All.....

While creating individual skill level kit descriptions pages in the Estes Kit database "http://www.seateddimevarieties.com/BAR/home.htm", it became obvious that Estes changed the skill level facecard design at some point during the 1977-1978 timeframe.

I have named the earlier 1973-1977 skill level facecard as Version1. The later 1978-1983 skill level facecard is labeled as Version2.

There are obvious differences between Version1 and Version2 skill level facecards.

1. Estes Rocket Logo on Version2
2. Black Box highlight for kit skill level designation on Version2 while none on Version1
3. Graphic of flight sequence on Version2
4. Star graphic on Version2

As a result, the Estes Kit Database will list separately the Version1 and Version2 facecard packaging variations. This will become interesting and more complex as we see different skill level hang tag and black paper hang tag usage combinations with skill level facecard versions.

You can view the first edition of the Skill Level Farecard Guide at http://www.seateddimevarieties.com/...level_guide.htm

I'm sure there will be more refinements to the guide as time go on.
