I've got a couple of these NIB starter sets sitting in the basement that I picked up at Kaybee Toys or Toys R Us years ago when they were blowing them out for under $10. It's a cool looking rocket.

Still kicking myself for not clearing out the KayBee in Georgetown, KY of all of the Quest Star Trek starter sets that they had for $.99.

Thank's Bill.

It's bigger than I thought.

Do you think it's clonable using standard, off the shelf rocket materials?

One question?

Is the R2 unit suppose to be on the bottom?

I thought it went on top?

This one is all plastic. but it should be doable with regular tubes and the cone from the Asteroid Explorer.
I think the R2 was an option only on the X-Wing.

Yours has the older R2 unit as seen at the beginning of Episode IV (Star Wars) where Owen buys the R2 unit with the bad motivator instead of R2D2 from the Jawas at the beginning of the film...

Here's the pic...

The second one is just for fun... LOL

Later! OL JR
