Maybe not static, but that steely grapefruit wine might make things fuzzy, Dan.

Good stuff, however I was thinking more along the lines of 'F****** Magic'.

Ah, a spoonful of knowledge from Earl.

Do you believe in (F*****) Magic
In a young girl's heart?

Shiny-ness Progress.

Yes, metal flake can be wet sanded and polished!

Currently working on the one black fin.

Left to right:

After wet sanding with 1500 grit.

After wet sanding with 8000 grit.

After polishing compound.

Panavia fins after same treatment.

Zero excitement painting here in Colorado. The humidity is low and paint just goes on fine.

Clarification: Except this past Winter. Crappy! From the first snowstorm of the season, to the last, we went 246 days! So close to breaking the record of 258 days!

I truly appreciate the 'nothing exciting' aspect of painting here in Colorado. High humidity issues would only complicate the effects of my own painting ineptness !

I finally got the Sticker Shock decals onto my Sahara. It is going to get a coat or two of clear coat, then automotive wax.

I'm wondering how long to let the clear coat dry / cure before waxing.
