Dean, you're gonna love the result of your build. Launched on a 'D', it's gonna be as close to a scale launch as you can get!

The MRC Concept II kits were much better than the original MRC models.

Bill Stine was hired by MRC to put some life into the MRC rocket product line and he did so.

Some day I plan to write a history of MRC rocketry and I even have pictures of the second set of kits for the Concept II line.

The MRC Concept II Catalog is posted at the Ninfinger Website:

My Ironman is next in my build pile.

Hey, Mojo! Someone finally has an MRC Ironman listed. Been a while since I have seen one. Starts at $59.99.

Thanks, Earl. I saw that and will be watching it closely. It's a ten day auction and already at $63, so it may go for more than I want to pay, especially since eBay's Global Shipping charges duty up front on all packages destined for Canada, but Christmas is just around the corner and I should be good to myself, so you never know.

What do you think, GH? How high should I go?

Just want to revive this thread and see if anyone out there is in a trading mood. There's an Iron man on eBay right now, but I probably won't get it:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/3254178661.........currently at $63

There's also an Estes D Region Tomahawk here:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/175489885759.............right now at $67

I have one of the Tomahawks that I would trade since I've already built one. This is a very nice kit with lots of finely detailed plastic parts. I wouldn't expect an even trade since I value the Iron Man much more highly than the Tomahawk. So I would be prepared to sweeten the deal with other Estes kits if there's anybody out there who is willing to trade.

Still looking for another Peter Alway Astrobee 1500 kit too. Got one from a member here but am afraid to build it and have it come in ballistic like my first one. So a back up kit would be really nice. Same deal............I really value the Alway kit and would be willing to sweeten a deal with additional Estes kits.

Finally, I would like to pick up a couple of Estes Sky Dart kits (the new ones) to build with my grandson. If anyone has these for sale or trade please let me know.

Also have a few older vintage Estes kits that are opened, but complete. I would have to dig them out to see what I have if there is any interest.

For any of the above, please PM me.

Joe
