I am making a LIA-77 pad, but was just going to use a can lid, removed with one of those safety openers that leaves a smooth edge, with a hole punched in it for the blast deflector. Not as cool as the original bent metal plate though. I am wood worker, not a sheet metal worker.

Default LIA style launch pad

This is a big shout out for Ryder and his dad, David. This is a great launch pad. I have always wanted one, and now I do. Good workmanship. Put me down for the big LIA-100, Ryder, keep them flying! Best to all!

If you are looking for a LIA-77 style pad, there are three ready to ship with aspen legs.
